Smart PDU with LCD display and Ethernet connection provides real-time power measurement and remote power management through the network. It can monitor the power status of any device connected to the PDU, either on-site or from a remote location. It supports different IEC Outlets configuration and power input with NEMA and IEC60309 plug. Built-in circuit breaker can help prevent overloads that cause down time.
This smart PDU distributes power to equipment in the racks and has the ability for outlet level power monitoring and outlet level switching remotely. Using a web application, switching capabilities can toggle power on and off for each connected IT device. Local and remote power monitoring of individual outlet and entire PDU can show data for current (AMP), voltage (Volt), power (kW), energy consumption (kWh) and power factor.
With daisy-chain function, this intelligent PDU allows multiple PDUs to be cascaded together to be monitored and controlled through RS485 ports. This eliminates the need for each PDU to be individually connected to a server to greatly reduce the materials and labor required for on-site construction. Multiple PDUs, by using a single IP address, can connect to the server using a single group of network cables.
This intelligent PDU is compatible for server racks and cabinets, 0U height supports up to 36 Outlets with different Outlet configurations makes the rack space used more effective. In addition, featuring Hot Swap allows to replace PDU Controller while the power remain switched on. This is true for servers that are operating 24/7/375.
