The circuit breaker with prompt overload protection response helps prevent potential circuit overloads that can lead to unplanned power outages of critical equipment.
Having daisy-chain function allows multiple PDUs to be cascaded together to be monitored and controlled. This eliminates the need for each PDU to be individually connected to a server to greatly reduce the materials and labor required for on-site construction. Multiple PDUs can share a single IP address and can connect to the server using a single group of network cables.
Monitoring capabilities can help you remotely access critical data on power usage in real time, examine historical trends, and even remotely manage power usage. Making PDUs Smarter
Daisy Chain Funcion
In a daisy chained configuration, multiple rack PDUs can simply be connected in series to increase capacity and can be managed by a single Master PDU. PDUs are linked to one another with USB cables connected through the PDU’s IN and OUT ports. A maximum of four PDUs can be monitored and controlled through a single IP address.
